Zenna is a DTx IP spin-out from a neuroscience research firm. We harness brainwave therapy through sound modulation to treat migraine and headache conditions. Our solution provides patients with the world's first non-invasive and convenient option to improve the lives of migraine and headache patients, through only a regular headphone and mobile phone. With clinical validation at our core, we have illustrated the solution through clinical trials involving over 5,000 patients in collaboration with public hospitals.

Tasks

As the Chief Scientist/Medical Officer , you'll lead the scientific and clinical direction and oversee the development of our groundbreaking migraine treatment technology. We are looking for someone with a medical or neuroscience background, an understanding of patient needs, and hands-on experience in regulatory efforts for this exciting new platform.

  • Lead the scientific and medical strategy to advance and optimize sound brainwave modulation technology for migraine relief.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals, researchers, and technology teams to ensure our platform aligns with patient needs.
  • Manage clinical trials and research to ensure our solution is both effective and patient-centric.
  • Represent the company in clinical and business settings, building strategic partnerships and advancing our BD efforts.
  • Facilitate market access to the DiGA market, ensuring our platform meets regulatory standards and market needs.
  • Assist with developing and communicating the scientific and clinical value of our technology to potential customers and partners.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Master/PhD in neuroscience.
  • Experience in medical technology, digital therapeutics, or neuroscience, with expertise in DiGA.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to represent the company both clinically and in business development.
  • Proven experience leading clinical development and integrating digital health solutions.
  • A passion for improving healthcare and patient outcomes through cutting-edge technology.

Ideal Background

  • Worked with BfArM or MHRA, or helped navigate the DiGA Fast-Track process.
  • Scaled commercial operations for a SaMD or DTx product in Europe.
  • Led regulatory or market access strategy for a digital health or medical device startup.
  • Experience as a key leader of a startup in health tech or digital therapeutics.
  • Prior experience in building and scaling digital health solutions.
