As a QA Automation Engineer (m/f/d), you will join our team to focus your expertise on our vehicle-sharing SaaS product. Your mission will be to lead system verification testing activities by defining and implementing our QA automation strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring our platform and features meet our customers’ requirements and our quality standards, at various stages in its development.

## Tasks

*   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and create test plans and strategies
*   Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java (Kotlin) and Object-Oriented Programming principles
*   Automate testing for Android and iOS applications using Appium, Espresso, and XC Test.
*   Implement behavior-driven development (BDD) using Cucumber to ensure comprehensive test coverage
*   Integrate test automation with Test Rail for test case management and reporting
*   Create and execute end-to-end automation tests for frontend web applications using Puppeteer, Playwright, Cypress, and WebdriverIO
*   Perform manual testing as needed to validate application behavior and identify critical issues
*   Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects, ensuring a seamless testing process
*   Monitor test results and generate reports for test execution and defect tracking
*   Continuously improve and optimize automated test suites for better efficiency and coverage

## Requirements

*   3+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer, with a minimum of 2 years of experience testing mobile applications and its APIs
*   Strong programming skills in Java (Kotlin) and experience with Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
*   Proven experience with mobile automation testing using Appium for both Android and iOS
*   Proficiency in Cucumber for creating BDD-style test scripts.
*   Familiarity with Test Rail for test case management and reporting
*   Experience with Espresso (Android) and XC Test (iOS) for mobile app testing.
*   Knowledge of frontend web automation tools such as Puppeteer, Playwright, Cypress, and WebdriverIO
*   Experience with REST API tests
*   Previous experience in manual QA testing
*   Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*   Strong communication and collaboration skills
*   Ability to coach others about quality assurance processes and concepts
*   Fluency in English
