About the role:
TALA, known for activewear that keeps up with busy lifestyles, has been on a rocket ship since its founding in 2019 by entrepreneur Grace Beverley. Built on largely organic socials, today we are a digital-first, multichannel women’s athleisure brand with a multi-faceted growth and retention strategy, trading on impressive numbers. TALA recently opened a 2,000-square-foot, double-fronted Store on London’s iconic Carnaby Street as part of our ambitious growth strategy, backed by a recent funding round.
We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who’s passionate about design, fast on their feet, and knows how to balance craft and polish with a playful, social-first edge. You’ll bring fresh ideas, sharp execution, and help shape how our brand shows up across every touchpoint.
Tasks
Day to Day you will:
- Championing TALA’s visual identity across every touchpoint, from our physical stores to our digital storefront, packaging, and social channels, ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact.
- Translating brand and campaign briefs into bold, scroll-stopping creative that reflects our values: conscious design, female-led innovation, and effortless style.
- Partnering with Brand & Marketing leads to interpret briefs and turn them into standout creative
- Bringing social-first, conceptual ideas that cut through the noise
- Leading a small team of two designers, managing workflow, priorities and ensuring top-quality delivery at pace
- Balancing brand and customer needs, keeping both at the heart of every design decision
- Playing a hands-on role in shaping the next chapter of TALA’s visual storytelling as we scale across new categories, channels, and communities.
- Some art direction and content creation as required
Requirements
What you will bring:
- 5+ years experience in art direction (ideally in women’s fashion, lifestyle, or activewear)
- Experiencing leading and mentoring junior team members
- A broad visual vocabulary and genuine love for great design
- Strong presentation skills and ability to bring ideas to life with clarity and confidence
- Highly motivated, collaborative, and always willing to get involved with ideas
- Expertise across Adobe CS and Figma (video & AI skills is a bonus)
