I'm Jakob, one of the three founders of VoltStorage GmbH, a Munich-based start-up with over 70 employees. In 2016, together with Michael and Felix, I founded VoltStorage. Our vision was and is to make renewable energy available 24/7 to enable a green, sustainable and fair future. As an expert for stationary flow batteries, we want to cover all application areas of stationary battery storage systems with our multi-technological approach and thus contribute significantly to the energy transition. 

To drive forward our major project, I am currently looking for a  
  
**Head of Product & Business Development (m/f/d).**  
  
In this position, you will focus with your team on the development and product management of pilot projects, which include strategic positioning in target markets and defining a market entry strategy.

## Tasks

*   Leading the product development of grid-scale battery systems in alignment with the overall company strategy
*   Developing innovative products and business areas
*   Defining and communicating the product vision to all stakeholders
*   Establishing partnerships, collaborations, and alliances
*   Revenue generation and achievement of strategic objectives
*   Leading the product management and business development teams

## Requirements

*   Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and develop teams towards objectives
*   Completed technical or engineering degree or equivalent education, preferably with a focus on electrical engineering
*   Experience in representing the company externally, building and maintaining partnerships
*   Competence in developing and implementing product strategies aligned with corporate objectives
*   Ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and evaluate market entry strategies
*   Capacity for strategic thinking, risk assessment, and optimizing profit maximization within the value chain
