We are seeking a talented and motivated Application Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development, and implementation of our advanced W2E solutions. You will work closely with project teams to ensure technical excellence from concept through to operational handover, contributing your expertise to complex and impactful projects.

Tasks

  • Technical Pre-Sales Support: Lead client technical discussions & create feasibility studies, develop process diagrams (PFDs/P&IDs), layouts, and presentations.
  • Proposal & Contract Engineering: Draft technical scopes, equipment specs, and compliance matrices for bids; Prepare performance guarantees and testing protocols for contracts.
  • Engineering Analysis: Execute thermodynamic, fluid flow, and CAPEX/OPEX calculations; Validate designs against EU standards.
  • Equipment Strategy: Select/specify core equipment (gasifiers, turbines, ORC, compressors); Manage RFQs and technical negotiations with suppliers.
  • Project Handover: Ensure seamless transition from sales to execution teams.

Requirements

Education:

  • BS/MS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Energy Engineering.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in energy/O&G/heavy machinery; client-facing engineering roles.

Technical Skills:

  • W2E/gasification/turbine systems
  • CAD (AutoCAD), simulation tools (Aspen HYSYS/HTRI)
  • MS Excel/PPT mastery
  • Experience with EPC contract structures and supplier management.
  • Certifications (PMP, PE, CEng) are a plus
