About us
We are Una, a mission-driven company tackling the ever-increasing burden of metabolic disease.
We combine the latest medical research, data science, biosensor technology, and human-centered design to enable sustainable behaviour change and improve health outcomes.
💡We have created the first medical-grade digital therapy that sustainably solves metabolic dysfunction.💡
We are backed by excellent investors such as Atlantic Food Labs, PeakBridge, Plug and Play, and DART Labs, and angels such as the founders of mySugr/9amHealth and Ada Health.
Now is the perfect moment to join us: we’ve launched our fully reimbursed solution for millions of people with type 2 diabetes in Germany, and we’re scaling rapidly. Next, we’re expanding services for healthcare professionals and other stakeholders, while integrating AI to enhance patient and doctor experience, and improve the quality of care.
We are hiring
We’re looking for our first Head of Product to take full ownership of our product and help drive Una through the next stage of growth.
This is a pivotal role: you’ll bridge discovery and execution, transform bold ideas into reality, and deliver products that directly impact patients, healthcare providers, and payors. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our CEO as a sparring partner on strategy and prioritization, and collaborate with our engineers, designers, and data scientists to build products that truly matter.

Tasks

What you’ll do

Own the product lifecycle end-to-end: from shaping strategy and discovery to delivering at high quality and speed

Extend our product offering beyond the existing DiGA user base, developing new solutions for healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders

Drive execution—take complex products from concept to launch and scale, shipping on time and at high quality

Define and track success metrics, ensuring every decision connects back to clinical, user, and commercial impact

Leverage data and AI as core differentiators in the evolution of our product

Act as a thought partner to the CEO, contributing to product strategy and roadmap prioritization

Navigate a regulated environment with confidence and turn complexity into clarity

Requirements

What you bring

Experience in product management, ideally at a Senior/Lead level

A proven track record of taking complex products from concept through launch to scale

Experience with end-to-end ownership of roadmaps and measurable outcomes

Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)

Experience building or prototyping AI-powered products—you tinker, experiment, and show how things can be built

A deep curiosity and fast-learning mindset—you thrive on quickly understanding new domains, connecting the dots, and translating insights into product decisions

Background in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments, ideally paired with some scale-up exposure

Strong communicator who energizes teams with positivity, clarity, and focus

Comfort operating in regulated industries

Based in Berlin or willing to travel

Bonus:

Experience operating in (German) healthcare

Research shows that there is a Confidence Gap between different groups (e.g., gender, age, ethnicity) leading some to apply when they meet 60% of the criteria, and others only when they check every box. So if you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.

Benefits

Why join us?

Shape high-impact products: Directly improve the lives of patients, empower healthcare professionals, and influence how chronic conditions are treated at scale

Join at the perfect time: We’ve been live for 18 months with our our fully reimbursed solution for millions of people with type 2 diabetes in Germany—now we’re scaling our user base and building new solutions for healthcare professionals and beyond

Work with AI for real outcomes: We’re applying data and AI not for hype, but to transform patient and doctor experience and improve quality of care

Collaborative, mission-driven team: Join a multidisciplinary, international group that combines medical, technical, and entrepreneurial expertise
