Tasks
For our headquarters in Travemünde (Germany), we are looking for a: IT Cyber Security Manager (m/w/d)
The area of responsibility includes:
- Implement, and maintain the company's cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and security governance framework
- Monitor security events and coordinate incident response, investigation, and recovery activities
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures
- Lead vulnerability management activities, including vulnerability assessments, prioritization, remediation planning, and verification
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure security is integrated into projects and new technology implementations
- Coordinate external penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, remediation activities, and security audits
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and cyber resilience initiatives
- Deliver cybersecurity awareness training and promote a strong security culture across the organization
- Prepare cybersecurity reports, KPIs, and risk presentations for executive management
- Act as the primary cybersecurity advisor for strategic IT and OT initiatives
Requirements
To be expected:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Several years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network security
- Strong knowledge and practical experience implementing cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including:
- ISO/IEC 27001
- NIS2
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies
- Strong networking and network security expertise, including Firewall administration
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring
- Good understanding of cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), and Zero Trust principles
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
