Toolramp is building the AI operating system for UK trades businesses.
We help repair, maintenance, and home service companies win more jobs, reduce admin, manage bookings, send quotes and invoices, take payments, and run their business more professionally from one place.
We are a young, fast-moving startup with a practical mission: make modern software simple, useful, and accessible for trades companies that are still managing too much through phone calls, WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools.
We are looking for a hands-on Working Student Online Marketing to support our growth across performance marketing, social media, content, and campaign reporting.
This is a role for someone who already has some marketing experience, either through internships, student jobs, university projects, freelance work, or their own initiatives, and wants to learn fast in a real startup environment.
You do not need to be a fully experienced online marketing manager. What matters most is that you are curious, structured, reliable, comfortable with digital tools, and willing to get involved in practical execution.
Support the setup, monitoring, and optimisation of PPC campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
Help with keyword research, competitor research, ad copy drafts, campaign checks, and performance tracking.
Support paid and organic social media activity across Meta platforms, especially Instagram and Facebook.
Help create and adapt short-form marketing copy for ads, landing pages, social posts, and campaign tests.
Review campaign performance and help prepare simple weekly updates on clicks, sign-ups, conversion rates, cost per lead, and other key metrics.
Support the testing of new messages, offers, landing pages, creatives, and audiences for UK trades businesses.
Help improve the connection between paid campaigns, website journeys, sign-up flows, and follow-up processes.
Bring ideas for new campaigns, content angles, creative tests, and ways to reach trades businesses more effectively.
You are currently enrolled as a student, ideally in marketing, business, communications, media, economics, or a related field.
You have some practical marketing experience, for example through an internship, student job, freelance project, university project, or your own online activity.
You have a basic understanding of digital marketing channels such as Google Ads, paid social, SEO, content marketing, or social media marketing.
You are interested in PPC, performance marketing, social media, and startup growth.
You are comfortable working with data and can understand basic marketing metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, conversion rate, and lead quality.
You can write clear, simple, and effective short-form copy in English.
You are hands-on, reliable, structured, and willing to take responsibility for your work.
You are comfortable using digital tools and learning new platforms quickly.
You speak and write fluent English.
You are based in or near Munich, with the ability to work from the office at least one day per week.
Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Webflow, Canva, Figma, Hotjar, PostHog, or similar tools is nice to have.
Experience or interest in SaaS, startups, trades, construction, home services, or SME-focused products is nice to have.
German language skills are helpful, but not required.
A flexible working student role with real exposure to startup marketing.
The opportunity to learn performance marketing, social media, and growth from hands-on work.
A practical, fast-moving environment with short decision paths.
Direct collaboration with the founders and product team.
The chance to contribute to Toolramp’s customer acquisition engine from an early stage.
Real responsibility, not just admin tasks.
A role where you can build your marketing skills while seeing the direct impact of your work.
This role is best suited to someone who wants to learn by doing.
We are looking for someone who is happy to get involved, support campaigns, review numbers, write copy, test ideas, and help us improve week by week.
You do not need to know everything already. But you should be curious, practical, reliable, and excited by the idea of helping build a startup from an early stage.
If you are commercially minded, data-curious, hands-on, and interested in how digital marketing can help real-world trades businesses grow, we would like to hear from you.
