We are seeking an experienced professional — MBA or a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), with a minimum of 3–5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) — to serve as a trusted right hand to the Managing Director (MD) of a diversified group with multiple business interests. This is a senior support role for a candidate who has hands-on experience managing a business or business unit, and can now bring that operational and financial judgment to support the MD across several ventures simultaneously.
This is not an entry-level PA position — we are looking for someone who has previously run, co-run, or held significant operational/financial responsibility within a business, and is now seeking a role working closely with ownership/leadership.
Tasks
- Oversee day-to-day coordination across the MD's multiple business interests, ensuring priorities are tracked and deadlines met
- Review and manage business finance and accounts, including monitoring cash flow, budgets, and financial reporting from each business unit
- Manage the MD's diary, scheduling, and stakeholder liaison, prioritising competing demands and ensuring efficient use of the MD's time
- Follow up on action items, decisions, and correspondence on behalf of the MD across all business units
- Draft, edit, and proofread reports, and executive summaries for internal and external stakeholders
- Identify, escalate, and summarise operational or financial issues requiring the MD's attention, with recommended courses of action
- Liaise with department heads, external advisors (legal, accounting, banking), and business partners on the MD's behalf
- Support strategic projects, including business reviews, market research, and investment or expansion proposals
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive business and financial information
Requirements
- MBA from a recognised institution OR a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) — finance, general management, or strategy background preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), with proven experience managing a business, business unit, or department — real operational or P&L responsibility, not purely staff/support experience
- Ideally, prior experience supporting senior leadership or a business owner with multiple ventures
- Strong financial literacy: able to read management accounts, interpret cash flow statements, and flag anomalies
- Excellent written English, with proven ability to produce polished reports, summaries, and correspondence
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams under time pressure
- Discreet, trustworthy, and professional, with strong stakeholder management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Based in or willing to work Delhi NCR hours; role is remote but requires strong availability and responsiveness, including occasional flexibility outside standard hours
Benefits
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and cross-business strategic decision-making
- Remote working flexibility with a Delhi NCR-based preference
- Competitive salary of ₹3–6 LPA, based on experience
- Opportunity to build a long-term career supporting a growing multi-business group
Interested candidates should send their CV along with a short cover note outlining their business management experience .
