Better Life Financial Group is seeking a proactive, empathetic, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. Based in or near Miramar, FL, this is an in-office position that plays a key role in supporting our members post-enrollment and helping retain long-term client relationships.
As the first line of support, you’ll field inbound calls, document client concerns, and work closely with licensed agents (AORs) to resolve questions related to coverage. Your follow-up care will help ensure members are educated, satisfied, and confident in their plan selection.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Member Support
- Handle incoming calls from members regarding their policies, coverage, and support needs
- De-escalate cancellation requests with professionalism and empathy
- Route policy-related questions to the appropriate licensed agent (AOR) when required
Retention & Follow-Up
- Place follow-up calls to check in with members post-enrollment
- Assist members with benefit usage, portal setup, and plan-related FAQs
- Identify and escalate potential issues early to support member retention
CRM Documentation
- Accurately document all interactions in the CRM notes section
- Ensure records are up-to-date for internal use and future client reference
Communication & Escalation
- Disposition calls correctly based on the nature of the interaction
- Escalate complex concerns to your supervisor or the assigned AOR as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Based in or near Miami, FL with the ability to work full-time in our local office
- Prior customer service or call center experience required (healthcare or insurance preferred)
- Strong verbal communication, active listening, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and document details accurately
- Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plusHighly recommended: Active Health Insurance License (candidates with a license will earn a higher rate)

- Licensed agents earn $20/hour
- Unlicensed candidates start at $18/hour
- Incentive bonuses available based on performanceOn-Target Earnings (OTE): $55,000 – $60,000 annually
- Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 weeks per year, accrued over time; unused time rolls over annually
- Sick Time: 5 additional paid sick days per year (separate from PTO)Work Attire: Business professional
