Community Success & Marketing Operations Intern (Zurich region) 80%-100%

We are seeking a Community Success & Marketing Operations Intern (for 12 months)

The Swiss Startup Association is the national umbrella organization of the Swiss startups.

As part of our small team, you use your entrepreneurial drive to support and engage our Swiss startup community.

• Handle community administration and respond to inquiries from startups, investors, and ecosystem partners
• Manage and grow our community by driving engagement across channels such as Emails, Social Media, Slack, and WhatsApp
• Maintain and update the SSA website, while creating content such as visuals, videos, blog articles, and marketing materials
• Design marketing assets including flyers, presentations, and promotional materials for SSA events and partnerships
• Maintain and improve our CRM/database by cleaning data, updating records, and supporting community outreach initiatives
• Support member engagement throughout the lifecycle: from onboarding to renewals and offboarding
• Take ownership of marketing and operational projects, from planning to execution
• Assist the SSA team across marketing, partnerships, and operational initiatives as neede

We are looking for someone with drive who likes to take on responsibilities and wants to discover the world of startup founders and entrepreneurs.

• Fluent in English (C2 level) and fluent in Swiss German or German (C1 level required)
• Enthusiastic about creating content, including writing copy, creating, and editing videos
• Educational background in marketing and/or communications (first professional experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Canva, and WordPress (prior experience is a bonus, not a must)
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices
• Analytical mindset with a hands-on attitude towards new tasks and challenges
• Willingness to work from our offices near Winterthur station at least 2 days per week (remote work possible 2–3 days per week)
• Possession of all necessary permits to legally work in the Canton of Zurich / Switzerland
