We are looking for an enthusiastic Infrastructure Engineer (m/w/d) to join our Global Infrastructure Team.
The person in this position will have an important l role in our organization, helping us implementing innovative solutions and supporting the existing infrastructure.The Infrastructure Engineer should have a hands-on experience in virtual platforms including Hyper-V, virtual environments, Windows/Linux servers, storage and security.
Aufgaben
- Configuring and maintaining virtual environments
- Troubleshooting complex issues in cooperation with Tier1/2 teams and external support
- Providing guidance and consultancy for infrastructure related projects
- Ensuring the security and compliance of the virtual environments
- Constantly optimizing virtual environment
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends to make recommendations for improvement
Qualifikation
- 3+ years’ experience working as a Infrastructure Engineer or similar role
- Excellent knowledge and strong hands on experience with Hyper-V (VMware is a plus)
- Strong hands on experience with Windows Server
- Experience with network and security
- Experience with SQL Server administration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in writing technical documentation
- Familiar with scripting and automation tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working in a global team
- Fluent in German and English
