The **Swiss Photonics Integration Technology Center (Swiss PITC)** is a new planned entity to provide precision assembly and packaging solutions for micro-optical systems and Photonic Integrated Circuits. It is expected to be operated and funded under the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Transfer Centers framework. The center will invest in qualified industrialized processes, high-tech machinery, and will operate a qualified piloting line and will be located in Park Innovare in Villigen.

As a first step in the creation of the center, we are looking for an engaged, visionary high-tech

**Chief Executive Officer (CEO)**

## Tasks

Your main responsibility is to bring the Center from funding agreement to operation, achieve international excellence level and ensure its long-term commercial viability. You will have the unique opportunity to build the center according to your vision in alignment with the board. You will drive the vision of the center, build a world class technical team, and secure the long-term commercial viability by establishing a solid customer platform.For this role, you bring strong leadership and excellent organisational skills and are a good listener.

## Requirements

You have a strong appetite to create and shape, and act as an entrepreneur and you have the hands-on attitude required to act successfully in a high-tech start-up environment. Ideally, you have a strong technical background in photonics and/or packaging.
