At Stenon, we are on a mission to democratize soil data. We have become the global market leader in real-time, digital soil data that is laboratory-independent. This provides farmers with essential data to make optimal and sustainable cultivation decisions, boosting yield, crop quality, and soil health while saving money on inputs. We are looking for a data engineer that will enable our soil and data scientists to acquire data and to process it efficiently.

## Tasks

*   Build and maintain data processing pipelines and storage
*   Ensure high performance and cost-efficiency when training and executing machine learning models 
*   Support in automating manual processes
*   Support in maintaining high data quality

## Requirements

*   **Customer Focused**: You measure success by the real value your work brings to users and the business. Your job isn’t done until you get positive feedback.
*   **Experienced and Up to Code**: You have **4+ years of experience** building **machine-learning**\-powered **products**. You write maintainable **code in multiple languages** (e.g., Python) and work with data processing tools like SQL, Pandas, Numpy, and ML-Ops tools (e.g., ML-Flow). Familiarity with **Docker and cloud environments** like **AWS** is a plus. You choose tools and technologies that best solve the problem at hand.
*   **End-to-end ownership:** You handle every project phase—from ideation and planning to coding, testing, deploying, and troubleshooting.
*   **Problem Solver**: You don’t wait for detailed instructions; you start with a problem and collaborate with the team to design and test solutions.
*   **Advanced English** Skills
