Tasks

  • Build and manage outbound GTM campaigns across email and LinkedIn — from strategy through execution
  • Write sharp, high-converting copy: outreach sequences, subject lines, follow-ups, and messaging frameworks
  • Own the technical layer: set up and maintain sending infrastructure, manage domains and tenants, monitor deliverability, and troubleshoot when things go sideways
  • Enrich and segment prospect lists using tools like Clay, Apollo, or similar
  • Iterate based on performance data — open rates, reply rates, conversions — and know which levers to pull
  • Collaborate with the team on positioning, messaging, and campaign strategy
  • Join client calls over time and represent spectup's outreach methodology to founders and investors

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience in outbound GTM and cold outreach — you've built campaigns, not just supported them
  • Strong copywriting instincts: you understand tone, persuasion, and how to write for busy, skeptical readers
  • Technical fluency in email infrastructure — you know what sending domains, tenants, DMARC/SPF/DKIM, and warm-up sequences mean, and you've fixed deliverability issues before
  • Comfortable with data enrichment workflows and prospecting tools
  • Client-ready communication style — articulate, professional, confident on callsSelf-starter who can manage multiple workstreams in a lean team
