We are entering an exciting scaling phase and building an integrated B2C and B2B ecosystem. To strengthen our team in Berlin, we are looking for an experienced professional in finance.

**The Role**

Join our team as a **Financial Accountant**. You will take responsibility for organizing and managing day-to-day accounting, preparing financial analyses and reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the development of internal processes and control mechanisms.  
You will also contribute to liquidity and budget planning and support investment decisions through the comparison of financing options.

## Tasks

*   Organize and manage daily accounting operations
*   Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
*   Prepare and support VAT filings and annual tax returns in cooperation with the tax advisor
*   Prepare financial analyses, statistics, and management reports (including optional reports for banks and investors)
*   Conduct and improve cost and performance accounting (KLR)
*   Contribute to liquidity and budget planning and support investment decisions
*   Support audits and act as a point of contact for external finance partners

## Requirements

*   Completed commercial training or a degree in accounting, finance, or controlling
*   Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a start-up or media environment
*   Strong knowledge of accounting and German commercial law (HGB)
*   Good knowledge of tax law, especially VAT, and practical experience in preparing tax returns
*   Experience in cost and performance accounting (KLR)
*   Experience in preparing reports and analyses for management; ideally some exposure to reporting for banks/investors
*   Proficient with common accounting/ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel
*   Structured, reliable, and independent working style; precise handling of numbers and deadlines
*   Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
