To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Brand & Trade Marketing Manager to strengthen our commercial team in Western Europe.
Tasks
Works closely with Commercial Director Western Europe and adapt Lunter brand & private label strategies and plans into the Western Europe market to drive dynamical growth of category.
Identifies and harnesses local opportunities to elevate Lunter brand and tofu category presence. Supports to shape clear strategy on brand & private label portfolio.
Creates compelling and locally relevant support programs, making tofu a fast growing and exciting category and positioning Lunter as the visionary leader and driver of category growth on the Western European market. Key focus in the initial phase is to build up strong BTL program to secure rotation in store.
Main responsibilities
Marketing plan adaptation - Localization Mastery:
- Execute Lunter marketing plans with a strong understanding of local nuances, ensuring cultural relevance.
- Adapt Lunter brand communication to resonate with the unique characteristics of the local market.
Trade Marketing/BTL activities:
- Lead the execution of trade marketing plans. From ideation to implementation,
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless execution of trade promotions and initiatives to maximize rotation of Lunter brand in stores
Opportunity Identification:
- Dive deep into the local market to identify untapped opportunities for Lunter brand, Private Label and Tofu category growth.
- Utilize insights into consumer behaviors and market trends to drive localized strategies.
- Closely align with central marketing & category team
Local Partnership Enhancement:
- Foster relationships with local organizations, influencers, relevant ambassadors, and trade partners to increase brand presence across various channels.
Social Media Dominance:
- Take charge of our social media presence in collaboration with our Communication Manager & external agencies.
- Suggest engaging and locally relevant content and leverage social platforms to build a community around our brand.
- Monitor social trends and feedback them into our online strategy.
Requirements
- University degree with commercial background. Start-up experience is a plus.
- Proven experience (min. 5 years) in brand and trade marketing (FMCG)
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-growing business environment or start up.
- Ability to work with limited budget resources efficiently
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of turning challenges into opportunities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent time management skills – you love keeping things organised and on track.
- Proactive and structured way of working, with strong communication skills (internal & external).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and a keen eye for market trends.
- Hands on mentality & self supportive
- Languages: fluent in English (and Dutch); French and/or Spanish is considered a strong advantage.
- You enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment and are hands-on in your approach.
- Availability to work 32-40 hours, with a minimum of 3–4 days per week at the office.
