As Sales Manager at Severin Hotels, you are the bridge between our peaceful retreats and the global market. Your mission is to build sustainable revenue through proactive direct sales and a commanding market presence. You don’t just "close deals"—you curate long-term partnerships and create demand for our unique "Quiet Excellence" at both Severin Sea Lodge (Mombasa) and Severin Safari Camp (Tsavo). You will be the face of the brand, protecting our rate integrity and ensuring our value is understood by every partner.
Tasks
- Strategic Revenue Growth: Take full ownership of B2B Leisure, MICE, and Corporate/Airline segments. Your goal is to move beyond "price-dropping" and sell the unique Severin value proposition.
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Proactively hunt for new business, conduct professional site inspections, and host immersive FAM trips that turn agents into brand advocates.
- Digital Sales Discipline: Maintain a "Zero GMail Inbox" and manage your entire sales pipeline through Odoo, Asana, and Google Workspace.
- Rate Integrity Stewardship: Protect the brand’s value by adhering strictly to approved commercial frameworks—ensuring we grow through quality, not just volume.
- Inter-departmental Synergy: Collaborate deeply with the Head of Front Office and Reservations to ensure the promises you make during the sale are flawlessly executed upon arrival.
- Market Presence: Actively represent Severin Hotels at trade fairs, corporate events, and networking functions, maintaining a "composed efficiency" that reflects our hospitality standards.
Requirements
- Proven Track Record: 3–5 years of hotel sales experience with demonstrable success in at least two segments: B2B Leisure (Travel Trade), MICE, or Corporate/Airlines.
- The "Severin" Demeanor: You are a confident, professional presenter who speaks with "Quiet Excellence"—influential and persuasive without being "pushy."
- Digital Mastery: You are a modern sales professional who thrives in a paperless environment.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to navigate complex contracts while maintaining radical honesty and accountability.
- Commercial Mindset: You understand RevPAR and occupancy trends, using data to drive your prospecting efforts.
- Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
