Interpreter and Cultural Mediator Arabic <> Kurdish with English - Nicosia, Cyprus

At Seprotec, we are looking for an interpreter and cultural mediator with the language combination Arabic <> Kurdish, with English, for an on-site position in Nicosia, Cyprus.

The position will take place from 7th to 18th September and is related to migration and asylum contexts. Therefore, we are looking for candidates with experience in interpreting and cultural mediation.

It is essential that applicants reside in Nicosia, Cyprus or are available to relocate and remain in the location for the duration of the position.

Liaiosn interpreting with Arabic <> Kurdish and English language combination

• Native or near-native proficiency (C1/C2) in Arabic.
• Native or near-native proficiency (C1/C2) in Kurdish.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level).
• Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in interpreting or cultural mediation, preferably in social, humanitarian, asylum, migration, or community settings.
• Currently working as a freelancer.
• Valid driving licence and own vehicle preferred.
• Valid European residence and work permit.
• Based in Nicosia, Cyprus.
