Are you working in a technical role in IT security and do you hold an OSCP certification? At Securance Cyber, you can continue developing your skills as an ethical hacker. Feel free to drop by for a cup of coffee and get a feel for the atmosphere. If there is a good match, we will continue the conversation.

Tasks

What you will do
Securance Cyber helps organizations with penetration testing, red teaming, information security and certifications. As an ethical hacker, you will independently carry out both small and large security tests and projects for a wide range of clients, from SMEs to larger companies and government organizations.
You will assess web applications, APIs, infrastructures, cloud environments and internal networks for vulnerabilities. You will look beyond individual findings: you will analyze attack paths, assess the impact for the client and translate technical risks into clear, practical recommendations. You will document your findings in well-structured reports and discuss them with both technical teams and management.
You will also contribute ideas on testing approaches, tooling and improvements to our services. You will stay up to date with new vulnerabilities, attack techniques and security trends, and actively share your knowledge with colleagues.
In addition, you will supervise one or more interns. You will support their technical development, provide feedback on their approach and reports, and contribute to the growth of new security talent within Securance Cyber.
"What I really enjoy is that from day one, you help prevent hacks at companies and government organizations by being the first to find vulnerabilities and helping them get fixed."
At Securance Cyber, you will have plenty of opportunities to develop yourself. Embrace our motto, 'Become the architect of your own future', and choose your areas of specialization with the support of a senior colleague. After approximately two years as a medior ethical hacker, you can progress to the role of senior ethical hacker.
Your team
Our team consists of junior, medior and senior hackers. You will work from our office in Leiderdorp. We regularly organize social drinks, events and meetups where you will also meet colleagues from our other locations in Utrecht and Eindhoven.
The organization has an engaged culture with a flat organizational structure. We place great importance on creating a pleasant working environment and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Requirements

As an ethical hacker, you have at least one year of experience in the field, have completed an IT degree at a university of applied sciences or an academic university, and hold an OSCP, CRTP, or another penetration testing qualification approved under the CCV Pentest Quality Mark 4.0. You work proactively and provide constructive feedback. You enjoy working on multiple projects at the same time and consistently deliver high-quality work.
In addition, you:
can independently carry out small projects
can clearly document your findings and analyses
enjoy sharing your knowledge during a knowledge session once every quarter
live in the Netherlands
have strong written and spoken Dutch and English skills
As part of our application process, we conduct a technical assessment. This allows us to evaluate your technical skills and gives you the opportunity to get to know Securance Cyber.

Benefits

Securance Cyber offers a high degree of freedom and room for your own initiative. You can also count on good guidance, inspiring colleagues, challenging work, personal development and, above all, a lot of fun.
Salary: €3,000 – €4,125 gross per month, depending on your experience
