Tasks
We're expanding our sales team and looking for a driven and strategic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us grow our footprint and onboard new logos to unlock new revenue opportunities.
As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospects. Your mission is to generate and qualify leads through outbound outreach, inbound follow-ups, and targeted prospecting. This role is perfect for someone who is a self-starter with a hunger to learn, a drive to succeed, a passion for building relationships and a desire to progress their sales career into an Account Manager or BDM role in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential customers using tools like LinkedIn, CRM systems, and sales databases
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to engage prospects
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria before passing them to the BDM team
- Set up introductory / discovery meetings with new prospects for AM’s
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM
- Review Frameworks for suitable tenders to review and bid for
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to optimise outreach campaigns and messaging
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitors
Requirements
- 12 months experience in a SDR customer-facing role (cyber services industry preferred)
- An understanding of B2B sales
- Passion for sales and interest in building a career in business development
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated with a proactive mindset
- Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently
- Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections
- Experience using CRM and sales analytics platformsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
