(Senior) Python Backend Developer

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer who thrives in Python and knows how to build clean, reliable APIs using FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy. You’ll join an ambitious fintech startup transforming how people plan their financial futures. Your work will help scale backend systems that power a user-centric wealth & investment platform, while contributing directly to the product’s evolution.

• Design and implement robust backend services using FastAPI and Pydantic
• Define and maintain data models and persistence logic with SQLAlchemy
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Python code
• Contribute to architecture and system design decisions
• Integrate with various AWS services – RDS (Postgres), ElastiCache (Redis), and infrastructure as code with CDK

• Strong experience with Python (3+ years) in production systems (not including Interships)
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy
• Good understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Experience working with AWS (RDS, ElastiCache, CDK preferred, but not mandatory)
• Solid testing habits and clean code practices
• Bonus: experience with async programming, Docker, or CI/CD
