SCAILE is building the infrastructure that makes brands visible in AI search. As ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews replace traditional search, we help companies get discovered and recommended by AI systems. We combine a proprietary Content Engine with AI agents to create, optimize, and deploy content at scale. Supported by Google Cloud for Startups and NCA VC, we're already live with clients like Beurer and Lyceum Technologies.
As our customer base grows, we're bringing on our founding Customer Growth Lead to sit between customers, product, and go-to-market. You'll own the commercial outcome of every customer relationship, from first pilot to full rollout: onboarding, adoption, renewals, and expansion. You'll work hands-on with our earliest customers, prove measurable ROI, and build the playbook that makes customer growth repeatable.
Tasks
- Lead onboarding of new customers, drive fast time-to-value, then make it repeatable
- Map each customer's content and search workflow, embed SCAILE into it, and run the change management that makes it stick
- Run structured value reviews tied to real outcomes: AI-visibility lift, citations across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, organic pipeline, and revenue influenced
- Own renewals and expansions in close collaboration with the founders
- Build relationships beyond your champion, from content and SEO leads to the exec sponsor
- Translate customer pain points into clear product requirements and create feedback loops on AI quality and accuracy
- Build the function from zero: onboarding templates, health scoring, playbooks, and enablement materials, plus case studies that fuel our go-to-market
- Hire and shape the CS team as we scale
- What success looks like after 6 to 12 months: customers onboard through a process you built, QBRs prove their AI-visibility lift and ROI, renewals are strong with a clear expansion path, and your playbook is ready for the next hire to run
Requirements
- You've owned customer relationships and can show what you kept and grew, whether in Customer Success, Account Management, Consulting, or a high-ownership GTM role in B2B startups (that interests us more than your CV)
- You're structured, analytical, and relentless about outcomes: you've run complex projects with multiple stakeholders and delivered
- You can explain AI workflows simply and credibly, to technical and non-technical audiences alike
- You've built structure where there was none before, a playbook, a process, or a team, and you want to do it again
- You speak fluent German and English (both are a must for our customer base)
- A plus: you've defined ROI metrics or customer health frameworks from scratch, or you have enough product sense to reproduce a bug and write engineering a clear ticket
