Sardina Systems builds cloud infrastructure software based on OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Ceph — for cloud operators, enterprises, and service providers across the globe.
We're looking for a Product Manager who operates at the intersection of customers, partners, and our engineering team.
This is a customer-facing role with real product impact. You run demos for new leads, design system configurations, and build product ecosystems via partners — and own the market and operational insights that drive product development.
Tasks
What You'll Be Doing:
- Work with prospective customers to assess infrastructure requirements and design custom FishOS configurations based on technical fit with their hardware
- Build and maintain relationships with channel and technology partners who extend the Sardina ecosystem
- Run product demos for inbound leads and product opportunities
- Translate customer needs into actionable product feedback — you're the main signal source for what gets built
- Support customers through the full cycle: demo, configuration, contracting, and go-live
- Coordinate with the engineering team on delivery, ensuring customer commitments are realistic and met
- Stay current on OpenStack, Kubernetes, VMware, Ceph, and adjacent market developments
Requirements
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years in technical product management, solutions engineering, or a pre-sales role in enterprise software or cloud infrastructure
- Strong enough technical understanding to work with system architecture and hardware fit — you don't write code, but you can read a configuration and know what questions to ask
- Comfortable running demos and presenting to both technical and business audiences
- Experience working with channel partners and resellers
- Self-directed and able to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously
- Able to translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear language without losing accuracy
- Fluent English required; Russian, German, Dutch, French, or Swedish is a strong plus
Nice to have:
- Experience with bid and tender preparation
- Education in law, and understanding of commercial contracts
- Prior startup or fast-growth environment experience
Benefits
We offer:
- Direct access to engineering — your customer conversations shape the roadmap
- Competitive compensation with regular review
- Flexible hours fixed to CET
- Fully remote, async-friendly environment
- Opportunity to attend industry conferences and events
