JOB TITLE: Team Leader IT Infra (m/f/x)
REPORTS TO: Head of SCP Group

Tasks
Role & Responsibilities
- Leadership of IT infra team 2 (storage/backup, telephony, server & application)
- Project management of IT infra and customer related projects
- Improvement of IT infra in terms of performance and availability and development/implementation of new infra services and business models
- Management, administration and maintenance of various cloud infrastructures, SCP cloud system, data backup and protection systems, archiving systems
- Management, administration and maintenance of telecommunication hardware, software and network (Cisco UCM incl. services; voicemail, fax, LCR, VPN, ACD, billing, S/W clients, VoIP, mobile VoIP)
- Define, manage and operate data backup (cycle, retention, protection, tape safekeeping) and data recovery
- Improvement of data security in compliance with Samsung security regulations
- Monthly management reporting
- Reporting of IT infra status as required by SLA or on supervisor’s request
- Proper documentation of all areas of responsibility
Authorities / competences / responsibilities:
- Team leader of the Infra2 team with the duty to supervise, instruct, develop, enable and motivate each team member in Team leader area.
- Responsible for the optimal functionality, performance and availability of all telephony, storage, backup and server services as well as the corresponding work flow in cooperation with team members and customers.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to the customer (Samsung companies) as Infra2 team, in close cooperation with Network Group and Service Desk teams.
- Responsible to increase Team leaders team’s level of knowledge with given training opportunities and/or request the appropriate measures
- The employee is responsible for the appropriate and timely execution of all of Team leader tasks. Team leader has to follow the general regulations of the company.
Cooperation/Communication:
- Members of Germany SCP Group and other departments (Administration, Accounting)
- Communication and reporting to the leader of Germany SCP Group / Business Development Director
- Internal & external service partners (hardware / software supplier / procurement group)
- Service customers (customer companies’ controllers, IT-, GA-, HR-managers, users in-house)
- HQ project members (project work) (SDSK, SEG, SEC)
- The employee is obliged to inform his/her colleagues and superiors if necessary. He/She has to inform himself/herself of the essential facts and data concerning her/his job.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:
Essential -
- Degree in information technology or comparable education with corresponding experience
- 10 years + experience in an information technology environment
- Leadership skills / team leading level
- Good experience and skills in IT project management (incl. presentation and cost calculation)
- Excellent knowledge of ICT-systems (hardware incl. servers, storage and backup systems, telephony systems)
- Decent knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, Google, etc.
- Good knowledge of various managed application services
- Good knowledge of network structure, network devices and network protocols
- Experience in troubleshooting
- Service minded personality
- Good communications and documentation skills
- Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment
- Working level English/German language skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to liaise with internal (colleagues) & external (Samsung companies) customers at various levels
- Awareness of data protection and other legal implications of information technology
- Reliable, accurate, organized and structured work style
