Tasks
In order to support our strong execution pipeline and financial analysis efforts, we are currently looking to hire an Analyst based in Vienna.
Responsibilities will include:
- Support existing and upcoming transactions throughout the entire process, from kick-off to closing
- Preparation of investment memoranda and presentations (industry study, strategic review, financial analysis)
- Develop financial models for proposed M&A transactions Due diligence management
- General tasks during transaction processes like assembling, developing or editing information requests, due diligence lists, confidentiality agreements or similar
- Preparation of commercial presentations / pitches (screenings, company profiles, positioning, valuation, deal strategy)
- Participation in the preparation of sectoral research papers and other marketing initiatives
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- The candidate will be capable of working under tight deadlines within a small organisation and report directly to the managing partners
Requirements
We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial and independent individual with demonstrated analytical, financial and client driven skills. Strong intellectual discipline and a passion for technology are also necessary. Particular emphasis is on strong financial modelling knowledge, comfortable command of the excel suite & knowledge of financial frameworks around a transaction (ie. earn-out models, payout schedules, cash waterfalls, cap-table mechanics etc.)
The ideal candidate would:
- Have a strong knowledge in corporate finance and accounting
- Have first experiences working in investment banking, venture capital / private equity, strategic consultancy, or the technology industry
- Have a strong academic record, with a preference for Tier 1 European Business and Engineering schools or universities
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Demonstrates a strong interest in both entrepreneurship and technology
