Head of IT, 100% (m/w/d)

On behalf of our client Dyconex AG, we are looking for a Head of IT, 100% (m/f/d).

Your General responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT department and its staff, ensuring smooth operations and effective team collaboration, goal orientation and efficiency of the IT department
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure
• Develop future IT organization and operational processes according to the group policies and guidelines
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, network reliability, and compliance with relevant regulations
• Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology integrations
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs and challenges
• Present IT strategies and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders

Your Specific responsibilities

• Manage and support the Carve-out/Transition processes
• Oversee the re-integration of server structures into Dyconex, either physically or in the cloud
• Provide significant support during SAP transition.
• Lead the software development department.
• Maintain a modern, functional communication network (IT and telephony)
• Monitor compliance with IT security policies, report violations to management
• Ensure the availability of all IT production and operating resources and report to senior management
• Create training plans for new employees and ensure their training and onboarding

• Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science or related field
• Advanced degrees or relevant Certifications are a plus
• Fluent in German and English
• Proven Experience in an IT Leadership Role, Managing Teams and overseeing Projects
• Hands-on proficiency in clients, server, storage, network tools and management (e.g., Microsoft AD, RDS, Vmware, VLAN, Firewall...)
• Expertise in Cyber Security related topics, including the creation, maintenance and delivery of cyber security documentation and awareness training
• Expertise in on-premise and cloud service infrastructure, including knowledge of relevant tools
• Project Management Skills, with Experience in Managing IT Projects from conception to completion
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of IT Professionals
• Strong presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in negotiating with business leaders to drive effectiveness of the IT department
• Experience in Manufacturing Industries
