Make a Real-World Impact
We build software used in critical, high-stakes situations, helping organizations alert, coordinate, and mobilize people when every second counts.
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to join our product and engineering team in Vienna.
You’ll work across our platform, with most of your focus on Java and Spring Boot, while also building and improving features in our Angular web applications.
We use a modern stack - Java 25, Spring Boot 4 and Angular 22 - and continuously evolve our architecture and engineering practices.
Tasks
- Design, build, and maintain backend services for our emergency alerting platform
- Build APIs, business logic, and data models for reliable, scalable features
- Develop user-facing features for our alarm cockpit and admin interface
- Build real-time and asynchronous functionality and integrate alert delivery across multiple channels
- Write well-tested, production-ready code and improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Own features end-to-end, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering
Requirements
- Solid experience building production backend systems with Java and Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Experience designing REST APIs and working with API contracts
- A strong habit of writing automated unit and integration tests
- A pragmatic approach to architecture and improving existing code incrementally
- Strong focus on reliability and software quality
- Clear communication in English; German is a plus
Benefits
- A product with real-world impact in mission-critical environments
- A skilled and motivated team with a strong engineering culture
- Flexible working practices and a collaborative atmosphere
- Competitive salary and benefits package
We aim to keep the process straightforward and respectful of your time:
- Initial call – A short conversation to get to know each other, discuss the role, and align on expectations.
- Technical session – A collaborative live session with our engineers. We’ll work through realistic technical problems, discuss code and trade-offs, and see how we approach solving problems together.
- Final conversation – Meet key team members, discuss how we work, and make sure the role and expectations are a good fit on both sides.
We believe in open communication and transparency throughout the process. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions at every stage.
