**Position Summary: The IT Infrastructure Administrator will be responsible for all local IT hardware, deployment and continuous improvement of programs and systems, supporting employees on site. Together with the EU Team he/she will maintain, and support other EU locations.**

## Tasks

**Key Responsibilities:**

*   IT-support in Betzdorf (on site) and other the European facilities (remote) related to hardware, VMware, telephone system and network (it will be a plus).
*    Assist users with questions about Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
*    VMware support for the deployment of new servers, updates, data. protection with Veeam to comply with the RegalRexnord strategy.
*    Maintenance, inspection and support of server systems on site and at the EU locations via remote maintenance.
*    Maintenance of the EU-specific backup and VMware environment.
*    Leading IT projects European wide.

## Requirements

**BACKGROUND AND SKILLS** 

*    Successfully completed training as an IT specialist as well as further training as an IT systems manager or a degree with a focus on information technology.
*    Several (more than 5) years of relevant professional experience in the field of IT, ideally in a similar position in an international industrial company.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS** 

*    Excellent **_German and English_** language skills, both written and oral.
*    Experience supporting employees working from home as well as in the office, especially with Office 365 and identity management components. 
*    Excellent technical knowledge of servers, VMware, desktop OS Windows 10 and experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
*   Structured way of working, ability to work in a team and high goal orientation.
*   Proven right to live and work in Germany.

**PREFERRED** 

*    Service management mindset and expertise to use Service management tools.
*   e.g.: (Service Now) 
*    Excellent communication skills.
*    Leadership skills for training employees. 
*    Flexible attitude is desired.
