Senior GMB Strategist & Local Presence Director

We manage a growing portfolio of business locations and need someone who can own the entire Google Business Profile ecosystem — strategically, technically, and operationally. This is a full-time role built for someone who has spent 10 to 15+ years in the trenches of local SEO and GBP management and has the results to show for it. • Manage, optimize, and grow multiple GBP locations end-to-end — categories, attributes, photos, posts, Q&A, and service areas
• Develop and execute local SEO strategies to achieve and maintain top local pack rankings across all locations
• Conduct in-depth GBP audits and implement structured improvement plans for underperforming listings
• Handle suspended or penalized listings — reinstatement requests, appeals, and compliance
• Monitor review activity, flag issues, and coordinate reputation response strategies
• Track local ranking data, traffic, and GBP insights with clear, actionable reporting
• Stay current with Google algorithm updates and proactively adapt strategies

• 10–15+ years of dedicated local SEO and Google Business Profile management experience
• Proven experience managing 50+ GBP locations simultaneously across multiple industries
• Expert-level knowledge of local ranking factors — NAP, citations, local schema, review signals, proximity, and category optimization
• Hands-on experience with tools like BrightLocal, Whitespark, GBP dashboard, Semrush Local, or equivalent
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into clear strategies
• Excellent written communication for reporting, review responses, and internal documentation
• Backgrounds from agencies, freelance, or in-house teams are equally welcome — results matter most
• Google Business Profile certifications or equivalent credentials are a strong advantage
