Technical Service Specialist

Quaker Houghton is a global leader present in peoples lives by providing solutions to the main industries in todays economy such as automotive, aerospace, aluminum & steel. This role is based at the Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel facility in Surat, India a steel industry leader.

AMNS, the agreed onsite technical service support. You will be mainly focused on testing, taking remedial actions and advising on all our product related issues and therefore developing a strong relationship with our customer.

What will you do?

Technical Service support activities at the AMNS site to ensure our metal lubricants, greases, coolants, water ,cleaners and other Quaker Houghton industrial fluids necessary for the manufacturing process are in optimal conditions. Such as:

• Responsible for the day-to-day routine testing of fluids on site
• Report to customer on necessary adjustments for fluid optimal performance
• Acquire, record and analyze process and product usage data using our software applications.
• Ensure all duties are carried out safely and efficiently as per regulations and customer expectations.
• Maintain constant communication with the Quaker Houghton teams involved and the main customer stakeholders.

We are looking 1-3 years of experience in the heavy industry sector for the position of Technical Service Specialist. Experience in laboratory testing of DM water and coolants will be an added advantage. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and services to customers and will work as a Shift In-Charge.

FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED

• A valid driving license is a must.
• Chemical education is highly preferrable
• Must have basic computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Location: Surat commuting area.
• Soft skills: high safety consciousness, proactive, team player, competent communicator.
