We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in building robust, scalable systems and a product-oriented mindset. You will join a small, multidisciplinary team focused on delivering end-to-end backend services that power key user-facing features across our platform.

The ideal candidate is experienced in creating resilient and well-structured services, comfortable working in cross-functional environments, and has a passion for building tools that are both technically sound and usable by non-technical stakeholders (e.g., growth, support, or accounting teams).

While experience in payments or billing systems is a strong plus, this is not a requirement. We welcome backend engineers with diverse backgrounds who enjoy solving complex business problems through software.

This is what you can expect when working with us.

• Design, build, and maintain backend services powering customer-facing features and operational tooling.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to shape APIs and flows that are both technically solid and user-friendly.
• Contribute to internal and external integrations (e.g., cloud marketplaces, partner APIs, or payment providers).
• Extend monitoring, observability, and alerting across systems to ensure reliability.
• Drive implementation of backend logic related to reporting, usage metering, entitlements, or similar operational concerns.
• Translate compliance, analytics, or business needs into sustainable backend architecture.

Preferred Tech Stack

• Backend: Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask, etc.)
• Databases: PostgreSQL and other relational databases
• Cloud: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure
• Frontend (optional): Familiarity with React, Vue, or similar reactive frameworks
• Bonus: Go experience, gRPC, or event-driven systems
