Our multinational team - currently situated in fifteen locations in Europe and Asia - belongs to the best performing sales organizations of our multinational and local clients. Tasks
Your Business and Area of Responsibility
- As part of our Product Management Team, you will act as a key interface between suppliers, sales, and the market; contributing to the development; with a focus on performance & specialty chemicals for CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants & Elastomers).
- Handling customer inquiries and providing competitive offers through your colleagues in Sales.
- Defining pricing frameworks and supporting the achievement of sales targets through proactive commercial planning.
- Building and maintaining strong relationsships with international manufacturing partners, including negotation of purchasing conditions, and securing availability of products.
- Own sales activities with selected customers.
- Mutual P&L responsibility within your team for your product range with a clear focus on profitable growth.
- Monitoring volatile petrochemical markets, gathering and analyzing market intelligence from multiple sources, preparing of market reports for suppliers and guidance of your colleagues in Sales with up-to-date information.
- Occasional travel activities to suppliers and selected key customers.
Requirements
Your Profile & Talents

- Professional experience in industries such as coatings, construction chemicals, adhesives, elastomers or related sectors, combined with solid product knowledge in areas such as amines, epoxy resins, reactive diluents, curing agents, UV monomers, cellulose ethers, catalysts, or similar chemical product groups.
- You have a commercial or technical (preferably chemical) education and have been working 5+ years in B2B sales, ideally in specialty chemicals / chemical distribution.
- You have a strong commercial mindset paired with analytical skills and a solid understanding of pricing, cost calculations, and margin management.
- You have strong communicative skills and a business-oriented mindset. You find the right words in friendly, but sometimes also tough negotiations with suppliers and customers. You establish trustful relations.
- You have the ability to gather, interpret, and translate market intelligence from various sources into actionable insights.
- You are confident in working with CRM systems and MS Office; you understand figures and statistics.
- You are a team player with a proactive and success-oriented attitude.
- You have a hands-on personality and enjoy taking over responsibility.
- Business fluent in English, additional language skills are a plus.
