Prematch

1-10

Hey, You! Nice to meet you!

As the leading platform for non-professional football in Europe, we bring professional experiences — from news and data to gamification — directly to a community of over 190 million footballers and fans.

We are Prematch, founded in 2021 in Cologne — a dynamic startup with a smart and ambitious team. Our marketing and business teams are based in Cologne, Berlin, and London, while our tech and product teams work remotely across Europe.

We’re backed by strong partners such as adidas, Krombacher, NIVEA MEN, and Techniker Krankenkasse — with a couple of exciting collaborations still in the pipeline. Successful investors like Ralf Reichert (CEO of ESL) and Verena Pausder are supporting us on our journey.

Already a good match if you....

Working Environment & Team: You want to work in a small team and startup-environment - a motivated environment, where you can directly have impact.

Main information

Office & Remote: Ideally you work onsite in our cologne office - remote within Germany is also possible.

Start: immediately (flexible)

Workload: 20 hours a week

Area of responsibility: Teamwear / Data Squad

For this we need you

Data Research & Analysis: you support our teamwear project through targeted data research and help us to expand our databank with the necessary speed. Because our data squad is currently too small, you bring the extra power to the team - and can even help with our analysis if required.

Your mission

Teamwear data research: Independant research and processing of relevant data for our Teamwear data bank, to efficiently advance the project.

Data quality & validation: Careful double-checking and quality control of the entered data to ensure a reliable database.

What do you need

Studies: You are studying business administration, data science, information science or sports (management) – previous experience is not a must; motivation, willingness to learn and team spirit are more important to us.

Excel / Google Sheets: You are confident working with spreadsheets, formulas and evaluations and can prepare data in a structured manner.

Precise & detail-oriented: You work extremely carefully, conscientiously and with a high standard of accuracy.

Calm & patient: You have the patience and perseverance required for intensive research and control processes.

Digitally savvy: You are confident in digital environments and understand how websites and social media are structured.

Sports-minded and team-oriented: You have an affinity for team sports and understand how teams – especially in football – are organised.

Language skills: You are fluent in German and English.

Advantage but not a must

Knowledge of sports brands: You are familiar with relevant sports brands and have a good sense of trends in sports and teamwear.

Flexible capacity: You can take on additional capacity at short notice and support the Data Squad as needed.

Why us?

Be there from the start – actively shape how Prematch grows and changes amateur football.

Paid internship – with us, you not only gain experience, but also receive fair pay.

Three offices in Cologne, Berlin and London – Work and get started together in a real start-up vibe. If you want to experience a different office, we are happy to support you.

Home office – You'll be in the office 3–5 days a week and can work remotely the rest of the time (working from home at the start and end of the week is quite popular with us).

Remote, even from further away – Whether it's a week of sun abroad or a few days with the family, with us you can work flexibly from outside your place of residence.

Team spirit – Whether in the office or from home: we use modern tools and a virtual office to ensure that our team stays connected even when working remotely.

Modern IT equipment – We provide you with all the important tools and devices you need to work productively.

27 days of holiday per year – For your relaxation and to recharge your batteries. If you are a parent, we have an additional special arrangement to help you better balance family and relaxation.

Team events at our locations – Whether it's after-work get-togethers in Cologne, Berlin or London, we regularly bring our teams together to exchange ideas, socialise and grow closer as a team.

Offsites with the entire team – Get away from everyday life for four days with the whole team: travel together, develop ideas, work together on site and experience genuine team spirit.

Right up your alley?

Let's not waste any time then!

All we need is your most recent CV (we like it easy!) You can easily provide further information about yourself in our short application form. Lisa will then get in touch with you.

We can't wait to get to know more about you!
