We are Prematch, founded in 2021 in Cologne — a dynamic startup with a smart and ambitious team. Our marketing and business teams are based in Cologne, Berlin, and London, while our tech and product teams work remotely across Europe.  

We’re backed by strong partners such as adidas, Krombacher, NIVEA MEN, and Techniker Krankenkasse — with a couple of exciting collaborations still in the pipeline. Successful investors like Ralf Reichert (CEO of ESL) and Verena Pausder are supporting us on our journey.

## For this we need you

* __Data Collection:__ You drive the development and automation of our entire data collection process for our new “Teamwear” division.
* __Insights:__ You develop solutions to extract valuable insights from images and websites, taking the product to the next level.
* __Iteration:__ You iterate quickly together with your team members.
* __Data Infrastructure:__ You take responsibility for the further development and scaling of our data infrastructure – ensuring our data foundation is always high-quality and robust.
* __Strategy:__ Through your analyses and data-driven impulses, you enable well-founded decisions and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and product development of the new business unit.

## Your mission

* __Point of Contact:__ You are the central contact person for all data-related topics in the new business area and ensure smooth communication between all relevant teams and stakeholders.
* __Data Pipelines:__ You design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines to efficiently automate and scale data collection.
* __Algorithms:__ You develop precise algorithms that extract relevant information from images and websites, delivering clear added value to the product.
* __Data Infrastructure:__ You continuously manage and optimize the data infrastructure to maintain high performance, security, and availability.
* __Analytics:__ You create meaningful analyses and reports for internal stakeholders as well as external partners to support data-driven decision-making.
* __Data Quality:__ You ensure that the entire data base is always consistent, reliable, and of high quality.

## What do you need

* __What You Bring:__ You have at least 2 years of solid experience in automating data pipelines and know proven methods to design processes efficiently and reliably.
* __Image Processing & Web Scraping:__ You possess extensive knowledge in image processing and web scraping to extract relevant information from various sources.
* __Databases & Modeling:__ You have expertise in handling databases and data modeling to develop structured and high-performance data systems.
* __Problem Solving:__ You can analyze complex data problems, develop innovative solutions, and derive clear, actionable insights.
* __Data Quality:__ You are detail-oriented when it comes to data quality and ensure that all data is precise, consistent, and trustworthy.
* __Languages Are No Problem:__ You have good German and English skills.
* __You Know Football:__ Amateur football is familiar territory for you.
