SAP MM Consultant / Lead- English Speaking Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM &Consultant and Functional Lead to take ownership of our Materials Management landscape and lead the operational delivery of the MM function.

This is a highly hands-on leadership role, combining deep functional expertise with team leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will continue to work directly within SAP MM while also acting as the operational lead for the MM team, supporting both internal and external consultants, driving process improvements, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects and support activities.

• Own the SAP MM area from an operational and functional perspective
• Lead and support a team of internal and external SAP MM consultants
• Act as the primary point of contact for all SAP MM-related topics
• Provide functional and technical leadership to the MM team
• Analyse, design, and implement business processes within the MM domain
• Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage and support change requests, incidents, and problem resolution activities
• Lead SAP rollouts, integration projects, and merger/acquisition initiatives
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams
• Ensure effective integration between MM and other core SAP modules
• Support team members with complex issue analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging

• Extensive hands-on SAP MM and Logistics consulting experience
• Strong end-to-end process knowledge within the MM area
• Excellent understanding of process integration across SAP modules
• Advanced debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Proven experience leading teams in an operational environment
• Ability to coordinate, mentor, and support both internal and external consultants
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proactive, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset
• Experience delivering SAP implementations, rollouts, and transformation projects

Desirable Skills

• ABAP programming knowledge is advantageous but not essential
• Experience working in international SAP environments
• German language skills are beneficial but not mandatory
