Senior Go Backend Developer

Senior Go Backend Developer (m/f/d) | Hamburg (Hybrid) | Up to €90,000

We're partnering with a fast-growing international technology company that operates a large-scale data platform serving hundreds of millions of users globally.

We're looking for a Senior Go Backend Developer to join their engineering team in Hamburg (hybrid working model). This is an English-speaking environment with colleagues from around the world, and relocation support is available for candidates moving to Germany.

• Building and scaling high-performance Go services
• Processing and analysing millions of real-time events daily
• Designing distributed systems using Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Developing APIs and data platforms used by external partners
• Optimising database performance across large-scale datasets
• Contributing to cloud-native, microservices-based infrastructure

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of commercial Go development
• Strong experience with distributed systems and microservices
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies
• Solid database optimisation skills (MySQL, Druid, or similar)
• Experience operating services at significant scale

• Hybrid working model in Hamburg
