SAP Basis Cloud Engineer – Focus on BTP & Cloud ALM

We’re partnering with a global technology-driven organization looking for an experienced SAP Basis Engineer to join their growing team at their Swiss headquarters.
You’ll play a key role in managing a complex SAP landscape, integrating modern cloud platforms, and ensuring stable, high-performing systems across a truly international business.
Tasks
- Manage and administer SAP systemsacross on-premise and cloud environments (ERP, BTP, Cloud ALM).
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations leveraging SAP BTP services(including RPA, Cloud Platform Integration, etc.).
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and compliance.
- Support upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.
- Collaborate with global development and functional teams on end-to-end solutions.
- Maintain SAP authorization concepts for both ERP and cloud environments.
- Document best practices and share expertise internally.
Requirements
- Solid experience as an SAP Basis Specialist / Engineer, with hands-on work in SAP BTP.
- Strong understanding of SAP ERPadministration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Cloud ALMand SAP integration scenarios.
- Working knowledge of authorization managementand security best practices.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication in English (C1)– other languages are a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- SAP certificationsin Basis or BTP are an advantage.
