Certifying Staff CAT B2 / Avionics Inspector (m/f/d)

Together with our partner Airbus, we are seeking an Avionics expert for a high-impact role at the Niederstetten Airfield (Ba-Wü).

As part of the LUH-SAR (Light Utility Helicopter Search and Rescue) contract, you will ensure that the helicopters responsible for saving lives are always ready for departure. The Mission: Keep the Lifesavers Airborne

In this role, you aren't just performing maintenance; you are the technical guardian of the H145 (BK117 D2/D3) fleet. Based directly at the Niederstetten military base, you will ensure the highest level of readiness for SAR missions.

Your core responsibilities:

• Avionics Authority: Perform and certify maintenance, repairs, and complex retrofitting on state-of-the-art helicopters.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Conduct systematic fault isolation and rectification of high-tech navigation and communication systems.
• Release to Service: Issue releases as Certifying Staff CAT B2, taking full responsibility for the airworthiness of the fleet.
• Military Integration: Document all technical activities in accordance with stringent aviation and military standards.

• Licensing: You hold a valid EASA Part-66 CAT B2 license.
• Technical Background: Completed vocational training in aircraft electronics/avionics or a comparable field.
• Experience: Several years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Advantageous Skills: Ideally, you already hold a DEMAR 66 CAT B2 license or a Type Rating for the BK117 D2/D3 (H145).
• Best fit: You are willing to undergo an intensified security clearance (SÜ2) and are ready for occasional field assignments (Außeneinsätze).
• Communication: Good German and/or English skills (written and spoken) and a valid Class B driver's license.
