Optotune is a growing and internationally active optics company based in Switzerland and Slovakia. We develop, manufacture and market the latest generation of adaptive optical elements for industrial and consumer markets.  
Junior Procurement Specialist supports the procurement team in order processing, communication with suppliers, and administrative tasks, assisting in ensuring the smooth execution of purchasing goods and services in accordance with internal processes.

## Tasks

* Operational Procurement for production material, RnD material and consumables
* Review purchase requisitions, request for quotation, conduct biddings, plan a delivery date and lot size, issue purchase orders, track and upload order confirmation, control invoices for price deviations to purchase order
* Ensure material is delivered on time, in full and to optimized cost (unit and transport cost)
* Work with suppliers to agree on corrective actions to resolve escalated issues (e.g. chasing suppliers for On Time Delivery) or look for alternative suppliers when necessary in collaboration with category managers
* Support to maintain ERP/SAP material master data and procurement parameters up to date, adjust safety stock levels of raw material according to inventory regulation and production planning
* Support NPI team in releasing products to production
* Close collaboration with the planning department, category managers and procurement from other plants
* Continuously help improve the efficiency of procurement processes

## Requirements

* Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain
* An open mindset that can react creatively on changes in the markets and our company
* Strong communication and facilitation skills/stakeholder management
* Excellent management skills Source-to-Pay process Supply chain management
* Project management knowledge and team player attitude
* Basic experience in working with SAP, preferably SAP/4HANA
* Good analytical skills
* Good communication in English
