We are seeking a self-motivated individual to help generate investment and decarbonization strategies for our customers’ portfolios. This is not just a consulting role, as it fits between Sales, Technical Customer Success, Product Delivery, and developing new solutions to provide value to our product and clients. You’ll play a pivotal role in assuring that our clients’ use our product to the full potential, developing our company’s product/go-to-market strategy towards success, and acting as an expert for the intimate details of real estate investment and renovation plans.

Real estate is one of the key levers for decarbonization, and it’s time to act. Optiml is fast-growing AI startup with a mission to revolutionize investment decisions towards sustainability.  

We spun out of ETH Zurich in fall 2022 and raised money from top-notch US & EU funds: Innovation Endeavors (San Francisco – fund of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt) and Planet A (Berlin). In short: although we’re only a year and a half old, and we’re at the stage where we need more entrepreneurial and talented people to join our team as we expand our product’s footprint.

## Tasks

**Responsibilities**

*   Bridge the gap between the Product and the Sales Team, and lead client interaction and use of Optiml platform end to end, from (technical) sales meetings, onboarding, to customer success and product delivery, and business development (e.g., expansion to further portfolios) 
*   Build strong relationships with key users and foster frequent use of the Optiml platform, incl. onboarding, coaching, feedback generation, Q&A and quality assurance - overall ensuring customer satisfaction 
*   Create the foundation of a Product Delivery team, establish efficient processes, templates and milestones and build a first team in-line with increasing customer demand and commercial drive 
*   Drive continuous improvement in the customer experience and support identification of new features through the platform in collaboration with the product, UX research, and design teams
*   Support delivery of PoCs as internal user of the Optiml platform 
*   Build case studies and stories of customer use cases
*   Support in contextual data gathering and assessments
*   Improve the data flows within the Optiml platform from onboarding to export

## Requirements

**Must have**

*   5+ years experience in the Real Estate / AEC industry with client-facing interaction such as sustainable real estate consulting
*   Masters degree in economic or energy related disciplines within the Real Estate industry
*   Certified GEAK expert (Switzerland) or certified DENA Energy Consultant (Germany); if not, passion to obtain a certification
*   Knowledge of data requirements and existing regulations & norms for building renovations 
*   Ability to contribute individually and in teams
*   Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
*   Swiss or EU citizenship (unfortunately due to size, we can’t support non-EU)
*   You can come to the office in Zurich a majority of the time
