Aufgaben
We are looking for a Flight Test Engineer to run flight tests for our detection and interceptor systems – flying test drones, collecting data, and labeling it accurately for the team.
- Execute flight tests, including FPV flights and model aircraft testing
- Collect data during test flights, following defined test procedures
- Label and annotate collected data accurately for use by the data and ML teams
- Cooperate closely with data engineers, ML engineers, and other flight test staff to ensure tests meet team needs
- Support test setup and teardown in the field, alongside drone operators and interns
Qualifikation
- Hands-on experience with FPV flights and/or model aircraft
- Comfortable following structured test and data collection procedures
- Detail-oriented, careful, and consistent when collecting and labeling data
- Good team player, comfortable cooperating closely with other engineers
- EU work authorization
Bonus:
- Experience with drone operation or RC piloting
- Experience with data labeling or annotation
- Background in aerospace, model aircraft, or similar hobbyist or professional flight experience
