And what exactly will you be doing?
- Content Creation & Management: Develop engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms, including posts, stories, and videos.
- Copywriting: Write creative and compelling copy for social media posts that align with our brand voice.
- Community Engagement: Manage fan interactions across social media, fostering a positive and engaged community.
- Event Coverage: Travel with the team to events, capturing behind-the-scenes content, fighter interviews, weigh-ins, and live-action shots.
- Video Editing: Create short-form video content using basic editing tools (e.g., CapCut) to highlight key moments from events and fighters’ journeys.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor social media performance, track key metrics, and adjust content strategy based on data insights.

Who are we looking for?
Someone with at least 2 years of solid experience in social media management, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry, ready to apply that expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- We are looking for candidates who hold a valid German residence permit, as this is required for employment. Additionally, fluency in both German and English is essential.
- A creative individual who knows how to navigate Instagram, stay on top of trends, and consistently produce engaging and standout content.
- A natural writer, skilled at crafting engaging and on-brand copy that resonates with the target audience and enhances our brand’s voice.
- A community builder who thrives on interacting with fans, responding professionally and authentically to keep engagement high.
- Comfortable with basic video editing, using tools like CapCut to create short, dynamic videos that captivate and excite viewers.
- Passionate about MMA, with a deep understanding of the sport and its community, ready to bring that enthusiasm to OKTAGON MMA’s digital presence.
- Someone who will be able to work weekends when we have tournaments, with the flexibility to take 2 days off the following week as a switched weekend.

- Other members of the Marketing Team.
- And other colleagues from other departments of Oktagon.
Benefits
How will the selection procedure be conducted?
- The selection process is neither the shortest nor the easiest. You will gradually meet 4 people + you will be given a task.
- On the other hand, each round may not last an hour, but they are long, ranging from 30 - 60 minutes.
- After signing up, Vanesa will get back to you within four working days and you will either receive a rejection email with a reason why, or you will have a chat together on the phone for a while.
- You will have a first round with HR.
- If it is ok, we will give each candidate an assignment.
- Then we interview with Kim and Amelie.
- And also with Philipp Masurat - Country Manager for Germany.
- If you get through all this, you will get an offer :)
- We don't want to drag it all out unnecessarily, on the other hand sometimes it's hard to schedule the right date due to organizing tournaments. However, we believe that we will be able to bring it to a successful end quickly.
