Tasks

What will you do?

The Manager Offensive Security is responsible for leading and managing a team of security professionals to deliver high-quality security assessments and identify vulnerabilities in customer applications and IT infrastructure. This role focuses on team leadership, project coordination, and ensuring excellence in service delivery.

As a Manager in Offensive Security, you are responsible for:

1. Leadership & People Management

  • Build an inclusive, high-performing team culture focused on ownership and continuous improvement
  • Lead, mentor, and develop security professionals at different stages of their careers
  • Coach team members, provide constructive feedback, and support career growth
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and manage individual development plans
  • Handle conflict resolution and stakeholder management effectively

2. Security Testing Oversight

  • Oversee the planning and execution of security assessments across various IT assets, including networks, applications, and systems
  • Ensure quality and consistency in testing approaches and deliverables
  • Stay informed on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to guide the team

3. Project Management

  • Coordinate and prioritize security testing projects based on risk and business impact
  • Develop project plans, set timelines, and ensure effective resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes

4. Client Interaction

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand security requirements
  • Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support proposal creation and contribute to client discussions based on their needs

5. Tooling & Methodology Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement in how security assessments are performed
  • Evaluate and support the adoption of tools and methodologies that enhance team effectiveness
  • Contribute to the development and standardization of processes and best practices

6. Documentation & Reporting

  • Ensure the delivery of clear, structured, and high-quality reports outlining risks and remediation strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of testing activities, methodologies, and outcomes

Requirements

  • Strong leadership experience in cybersecurity or IT environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven project management and organizational skills
  • Good understanding of security testing principles (without requiring hands-on experience)
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards
  • Eligibility for NATO Clearance (see HERE for more information)
