Nox Mobility

1-10

Berlin

Nox is aiming to become the best alternative to short-haul flights by soon offering premium overnight trains across Europe. With a radically redesigned interior and onboard experience, people travel in style, saving time being asleep. We now search for the most passionate and talented people out there to bring the first of many more Nox trains on the tracks.

We believe in strong teams through diversity, fresh thinking, and a shared commitment to build something meaningful. Apart from that, these things are important to us:

Stay real. From intern to CEO, everyone will work at least two cabin crew shifts a year

Own it. Take responsibility from day one to shape Nox with your personal touch

Challenge. Question legacy thinking and push ideas that really excite our customers

We care about strong, data-informed thinking and clear communication, but just as much about building a team with diverse perspectives and experiences. We especially encourage individuals who are usually underrepresented in traditional industries and business contexts, creating a more inclusive and balanced environment for the whole team.

If you’re excited about building something from the ground up and seeing it run in real life, this role could be for you. As a Strategy & Operations Manager (f/m/d), you will launch and run our first line end-to-end: Turning concepts into reality, managing partners, and delivering on commercial and operational KPIs while building and leading your own team.

Run the first line: Bring our first train on the tracks managing multiple partners and bring your own concepts to reality

Think from scratch: You will co-lead the first operational base with the management team and will be responsible for defining and meeting commercial and operational KPIs on the first line

Build and lead your team: After the groundwork is done, hire, lead and develop an operational team who makes Nox the most loved travel brand in Europe

Requirements

You have 3+ years in Operations Management, General Management, product / market launches or similar experience

You are a strong executor who strictly prioritises on what matters most, without losing the bigger picture

You use relevant data and (AI) tools to base strategic decisions on, while mixing it with a confident “business gut feeling”

Professional experience in leading people and/or large projects is a plus

German proficiency of C2, Fluent in English, every other language is a plus

Benefits

A small, young and powerful team with diverse backgrounds, visions and skills

A culture built on flat hierarchies, zero corporate politics and plenty of room for you to grow

A chance to build one of the most influential products in European mobility and hospitality

A competitive start-up salary combined with employee stock options

A lot of new things. If you love the unknown and can adapt quickly, you’ll have tons of fun with us

A free contingent of Nox rides in the future, Nextbike subscription, strong Travel discounts as well as choice of either Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club or sport reimbursements.

Please don’t let imposter syndrome hold you back; we value your passion and potential more than a perfect match with every requirement. Even if you don’t meet every single criterion, we still encourage you to apply.

Please note: All positions require fluent English unless stated otherwise; additional languages are a plus.

Along with your CV, please include your salary expectations, earliest possible start date, and your answer to the following question in your motivational letter or application email:

Why does Nox need to exist - and why are you the right person to help build it? (max. 3–4 sentences)
