What do we do?

We, Northh Medical, have developed a unique medical device that enables the visualization of the heart of an unborn child with MRI. For the first time, the entire potential of magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) can be used for the diagnosis of congenital heart defects before birth, with the help of our medical device. We are enabling an alternative imaging method to sustainably improve the health of children with precise prenatal diagnostics and thus prevent secondary diseases through early intervention. At the same time, the product can be used for the established adult cardiac MRI. Our mission is to establish this innovative product in the worldwide market for fetal and adult use.

We need your support with immediate effect as a Student (m/f/d) as Software and/or Hardware Developer – 10hrs/week.

• Interest in the development of hardware and software
• Basic knowledge in Python
• Setting up the test setup
• Support in circuit design for the test setup

• You study electrical engineering, mechatronics, medical technology or a comparable field of study
• You already have experience in object-oriented software development (e.g. C#/Java/Python)
• You have an analytical mindset and technical understanding

• Working in a small team in the Health Innovation Port (HIP) at Philips
• Independent work right from the start
• Collaboration on an innovative medical technology device
• Insights into the dynamics of a start-up
