Tasks
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee the management of customer accounts and outstanding balances. This role is critical in assessing credit risk, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of credit principles, experience in ERP systems, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify process improvement opportunities in AR workflows and recommend automation or reporting enhancements
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to align credit strategies with seasonal business needs
- Evaluate and monitor credit risk for overdue and high-risk customers
- Proactively communicate with customers to resolve outstanding balances
- Manage accounts placed on credit hold, ensuring compliance with release criteria prior to shipment
- Process incoming customer payments and deposit checks
- Reconcile customer accounts and issue credit memos as necessary
- Prepare and send account statements to customers
- Oversee the customer onboarding process and assess creditworthiness
- Advise internal teams on customer credit status and escalate accounts to collection agencies as needed
- Participate in credit review meetings and provide updates to the sales team
- Manage and maintain the dealer portal and related platforms
- Support various administrative tasks, including invoicing, sales order management, and rep commission tracking
- Assist with monthly and period-end closings and report directly to the Controller
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred; equivalent work experience considered
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounting, preferably Accounts Receivable, in a B2B or wholesale environment
- Experience in outdoor/lifestyle brand or seasonal industry (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems, especially NetSuite, is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ELASTIC ordering platform and Vision Werks dealer portal a plus

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
- Passion for outdoor sports or interest in snowboarding culture is a plus (not required but valued)
- You’re a detail ninja with a nose for numbers and a knack for balancing relationships and results
