RN – Acute Cardiac Telemetry (Per Diem)

The RN Acute Cardiac Telemetry provides skilled nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in a fast-paced hospital setting at Prime Healthcare. This role involves assessing cardiac rhythms, administering medications, responding to changes in patient condition, and collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary care team. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, telemetry experience, and the ability to work independently on a per diem basis while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

Available shifts for days and nights. Post open heart and other. Surgical post op COU. There is not any on-call required. Every other weekend preferred. Per Diem

Acute Cardiac Telemetry – Per Diem role at Prime Healthcare:

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of assignment
• Minimum of 1–2 years recent experience in Acute Cardiac Telemetry or comparable acute care setting
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• ACLS certification required
• Proven ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry monitoring
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Flexibility to accept per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Must meet all Prime Healthcare compliance and onboarding requirements prior to start
