## Tasks

As a Python/AI Engineer at Nairon GmbH, your work will focus primarily on backend development and AI integration, with occasional collaboration across the full stack.

Your responsibilities will include:

*   Designing, building, and maintaining backend services using **_Python_** and **_FastAPI_**.
*   Developing and integrating LLM-based systems using tools such as **_LangChain or Pipecat_** and other relevant APIs
*   Creating modular, reusable backend components to power voice and chat-based AI interfaces.
*   Writing clean, well-structured code and contributing to code reviews and architectural decisions.
*   Collaborating with frontend developers, UX designers, and project leads to align technical implementation with product goals.
*   Applying DevOps best practices using **_Docker_** and, where appropriate, **_Kubernetes_** for deployment and scalability.
*   Supporting communication and coordination within the Athens-based development team.

## Requirements

**Experience:**  
Any relevant backend or AI engineering experience is welcome. We are open to junior, mid-level and senior candidates with strong Python skills and a solid understanding of LLM technologies.

**Technical Skills:**

*   Proficiency in **_Python_** is required.
*   Experience with **_FastAPI_**_,_ **_LangChain, Pipecat_** or similar LLM frameworks is highly appreciated.
*   Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and conversational AI concepts is a strong plus.
*   Comfort with Docker-based development and basic DevOps practices.
*   Familiarity with frontend technologies like **_Next.js_** is a bonus but not required.

**Communication:**

*   **_English proficiency is essential_**, both written and spoken, as it is the working language for all positions.

**Soft Skills:**

*   Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
*   Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.
*   Ability to collaborate in a distributed, cross-functional team environment.
