Senior IT Administrator (m/f/d) - Systems, Network & Security

We are MOTOR Ai. Our mission is to make Level 4 autonomous driving a reality in Germany and beyond. Tasks

• Plan, develop, and evolve our corporate IT landscape, from network and servers to end-user systems

• Design and run our corporate network, hardware and software alike, ensuring high availability

• Administer core IT services such as Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, server and client systems, virtualization, cloud, and backup

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights

• Implement and monitor security measures, and spot performance bottlenecks before they become problems

• Troubleshoot hands-on, and take care of regular maintenance and patching

• Document system and network configurations, and prepare documentation for certifications such as NIS2 and ISO 27001

Requirements

• A degree in IT/Computer Science, completed vocational training as a System Administrator, or equivalent hands-on experience

• At least 7 years of relevant experience as an IT generalist, with the confidence to work independently

• Strong knowledge of network architecture and design, plus hands-on experience with routing & switching, VLANs, and network monitoring tools

• Solid experience with Windows and Linux systems, Active Directory / Entra ID, and Microsoft 365

• Fluent English (C1) is required; German (B2/C1) is a plus

• UniFi experience and scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python) are a plus

• A stress-resistant, solution-oriented mindset, real hands-on energy, and enthusiasm for shaping a growing IT environment
